We went to pick out a Christmas tree the day after we got back home from a visit up north for thanksgiving. Jacquie's only rule was that it had to be bigger than our tree last year. Our tree last year was about 3 feet tall. Since we have a larger apartment this year why not get a bigger tree. We bought it from some local scout troop in town. The guy said it was a "second" which he said means that it has a flat side and is missing branches. To me all it meant was that it was cheaper. I am going to put it in a corner anyway. The flat side just makes it easier to pick out which side goes against the wall.
We are enjoying our tree very much. It makes our entire apartment smell great.
