The "Cotton-Flower"

One day I was making lunch for the twin six-year-old boys that I take care of. We were all in the kitchen. Jacob and Orion were sitting at the table while I was preparing the food. As I was cutting and apple, Jacob asked, "Jacquie, do you like to eat cotton-flower?" I didn't respond right away as I was trying to figure out what cotton-flower is. After a few seconds I gave up and asked, "Well, I don't know. What is cotton-flower?" And in Jacob's cute little voice he said, "It's the big plant that's like broccoli but its white and looks like clouds!" Oh my goodness! After I laughed I told him that it was actually called cauliflower, and yes, I do like to eat it! So cute!
