New Words Continued
The Ozzies and Kiwis are very laid back, especially when it comes to speaking. For one thing, they only open their mouths enough to just let the sound escape, which is probablty to prevent any mozzies from flying in. They also are very fond of nicknames, usually formed by shortening the word and adding an 'ee' or 'o' sound. Also the 'R's at the end of words are completely ignored in speech and occasionally dropped in spelling as well. Can you figure out how these words translate to American English?
